"I wanna help!" I hear this almost every day at dinner prep time and I have to find toddler approved tasks for you to do for me. Washing potatoes was perfect.
Those poor library puppets. They are used and abused every time we come. This time the two twin hamsters were at war with each other.

Walking together to pick up your brother from school. You held my hand the whole way, which has become rarer these days, usually you wanna be off on your own, free to run and do things "all by myself," but today you held my hand and I savored it.
You two have been at each others throats a lot lately. But on the playground, you're her biggest supporter, showing her how to do everything and cheering her on and saying "I'll show you, Coco!"

"I'm drumming! I'm drumming like the boys does!"  Not sure who the boys were that you saw drumming but when you found the two wooden spoons in the drawer, you somehow knew that's what they were for.
Ever since our camping trip where you caught all those lizards, you've been fearless in your attempts to catch most any other small animal or insect. Today you caught this moth who was hanging out in the window.

It's just you and me in the mornings now that Logan is back at school. It's a nice change and I enjoy the time with just you. Well, just you and the cheerios too, I guess.
Tickle attach from Daddy!

She's not smiling because of the chocolate running down her face, she's smiling because her daddy was making her laugh.
Today was the first day of 2nd grade. You refused to let me take a picture of you at school. I think after nine months of pictures every day, you're gettin a lil sick of it. I have to sneak up on you while you're doing something else. So while you were deep in lego buidling mode, I was able to snag a few.

235/365

Hiding in the pants with your brother, while mommy tries to finish "back to school" shopping.
I rewarded you guys for being great helpers while I ran errands today, with McDonalds. You were all over the play place while your sister stuck to the lower half out of fear and claiming the slides were "too deep" for her. She finally braved one and climbed up from the bottom but about half way started freaking out and since I couldn't reach her, you zipped down to help escort her to the bottom. Big Brother, to the rescue!

Oh my lil sunshine. You are a joy to watch discovering the world around you.
I love the crooked helmet, the tongue out, the swim trunks and the shadow. And I love the boy most of all.
