8/52

It was a beautiful day, the sun was shining, the trees were starting to bud and I said "Let's ride our bikes to the park!" YEAH!! you both were excited and hurried outside. I gather up a few things and then place your helmet on your head. You do not want to wear a helmet. I mean, you REALLY do not want to wear a helmet. So of course I tell you, you can not ride your bike without a helmet. Your brother is already at the end of the block waiting for us. You're crying. And there you sit, crying and refusing to move.  Sigh... it's tough sometimes. And I just don't know what to do, or how to motivate you or how to teach you want you need to know in these moments. I'm still learning. In the end we parked the bikes, removed the helmets and walked to the park. We recovered.
First jui-jitsu class! And we were totally the annoying super proud parents watching from the sidelines. You had no problem with the rope climb and caught on really fast to all the new techniques. I'm excited to see how this develops!
